Today I am sharing a photographic record of a recent walk in the woodland at Cliveden, National Trust.

The approach to Green Drive, Cliveden

I notice that the trees are changing colour with the approach of autumn

Making my way through the woodland

Noticing the interesting texture of the tree bark

A tangle of tree trunks and stems

Interesting shapes and textures in the undergrowth

Beautiful shades of green in bramble leaves

Treasure on the forest floor - leaves, twigs, pine cones and pebbles

A beautiful mushroom

A carpet of ferns to greet me as I leave.
